The company built its first bus in 1979, driven by the promise of delivering a more reliable, more comfortable and longer-lasting vehicle, with lower operating costs than those available at the time.
Today, Volgren designs and manufactures public transport buses of all types, across multiple technologies, including zero-emission vehicles. Our bus bodies are designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia, and we are incredibly proud to maintain nearly 90% local production.
