About Intuit Australia Pty Ltd

Just over 40 years ago, Intuit Founder, Scott Cook witnessed his wife struggling to balance the family cheque book. Inspired by a desire to help, he developed Quicken, a product that went on to revolutionise personal finance in the US in 1983. Fast forward to 2013, Intuit QuickBooks Australia was founded.

Since then, we’ve scaled to over 170 employees in Australia. While we’ve only been in Australia just shy of a decade, we’ve been named in the top three Best Places to Work twice already. This is a testament to our people; an army of advocates who are driven by a common mission: to power prosperity around the world.

We’re proud to have built a welcoming and engaging environment where the team can bring their whole selves to work every day. For most of us at Intuit QuickBooks Australia, it’s the culture, values and deep care for solving customer problems that drew us in (and kept us here).

Best Workplaces Lists FAQs

How do we become a Best Workplace?

Start by earning Great Place To Work-Certified™ status through the Trust Index™ employee survey and the Culture Brief. Once Certified, eligible organizations are considered for Best Workplaces™ lists during the qualification period.

Best Workplaces™ recognition is based on employee feedback collected through the Trust Index™ survey, supported by your Culture Brief submission. This keeps the focus on the real employee experience rather than marketing claims.

Eligibility starts with becoming Great Place to Work-Certified™. Your organization also needs to meet the list’s timing and participation requirements, so your results fall within the qualification window for that Best Workplaces™ list.

The Culture Brief is a short questionnaire about your organization to support your survey results. The Culture Audit goes deeper, typically asking for more detailed descriptions and evidence of your workplace practices.
