During the fortnight that brought us some relief by way of a plan forward and out of the COVID lockdown, we have also observed a growing frustration from employees. Whilst employees are still reporting that they are feeling well informed about the current situation, growing frustration seems to be stemming from a lack of understanding of what the future will look like.

It has now been over a month since organisation wide changes in operations have come into effect as a result of COVID-19. The past fortnight has also seen added pressure in households with children on school holidays. This has had a follow-on effect on the new virtual work groups, as colleagues have been both physically and virtually absent. During the week commencing 6th April 2020, Great Place to Work Australia commenced facilitating a complimentary check in survey, How you Doin’. 911 Australian employees took part from a range of industries including retail, hospitality, finance and technology to name a few.
