Samantha Huddle is the General Manager of Great Place to Work® in Australia and NZ. Samantha has more than two decades of experience from the grassroots to the C-suite and helps businesses build high-trust, inclusive cultures that deliver tangible results.

After starting her career at Patagonia - known for its iconic workplace culture, Sam then went on to hold Senior leadership and consulting roles at corporate responsibility think tank AccountAbility, Great Place to Work® UK, Net Balance and EY Australia.

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts (Combined Honours Political Science and Criminology) Univeristy of Melbourne, Sam is a Master of Social Impact (Candidate) at the Centre for Social Impact, Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship, Swinburne University of Technology

Now with decades of experience across the government, corporate and purpose driven not-for-profit sectors, Sam brings a collaborative, values-driven approach and a passion for achieving social impact through business.

Driven by a love of business and an unwavering commitment to fair and equitable treatment, Michael joined Great Place to Work as CEO in 2015, bringing 30 years of experience leading and growing organizations. This includes serving as CEO of Tetra Tech Communications, which he grew from $40 million to $300 million in revenue. Michael is a former member of President Obama’s White House Business Council and a founding board member of the private equity seed-fund, Fund Good Jobs, which invests in small inner-city businesses.

Sean Aylmer is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected journalists. Sean was Editorial Director of the ASX-listed Fairfax Media, the most senior journalist in the Fairfax group. He has reported on economics, financial services, superannuation and investing. Sean was a political correspondent in Canberra and a foreign correspondent in New York. He was previously an economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia.

To be eligible for the World’s Best Workplaces list, a company must apply and be named to a minimum of 5 national Best Workplaces lists within our current 58 countries, have 5,000 employees or more worldwide, and at least 40% of the company’s workforce (or 5,000 employees) must be based outside of the home country. Extra points are given based on the number of countries where a company surveys employees with the Great Place to Work Trust Index©, and the percentage of a company’s workforce represented by all Great Place to Work surveys globally. Candidates for the 2017 Worlds Best Workplaces list will have appeared on national workplaces lists published in September 2016 through August 2017.
